2: As I mentioned previously, when I was a kid I was scared to death of dragonflies.
Today at the dog park… I discovered that I still don’t like them.

When I was little, I was deathly afraid of dragonflies. I would scream bloody murder if one came within 5 feet of me.
My mom tried to tell me that they were horses for fairies but I never believed it.
I remember once I was out side playing in my kiddie pool when a dragonfly swung by—I guess they’re attracted to water or something. I leaped from the pool and ran inside and cried.
I was a strange kid.
