A Hundred and Twenty One Dollars Later

I went to the DMV yesterday and got Oregon license plates. It cost me $121, lord. Did I even have that much money in the bank? I hope so. Anyway. So I get my plates and stickers and come home and get the back California plate off with my Swiss Army knife and put the new Oregon one on, yay. Then I go around to the front of the truck, and it has a really weird bolt thing that I don’t have the tool to get off, and trying to do it by hand was futile.

So my truck has one Oregon plate, and one California plate. I’m a ticket just waiting to happen.

lol yeah you are a ticket waiting to happen but if you do get pulled over just explain to the cop that you can’t get the other plate off and if you’re lucky he/she will help you.

Or you can go to advance auto parts and they’ll help you for free. That’s where I always went when my car was still running *nods*

Maybe you could soak the bolt in oil to make it come off easier.

Haha Jules, that’s the plan. I meant to make him do it yesterday and I forgot.

Spray it liberally with WD-40 (you can find it at any auto parts store or Wal-Mart).  Wait a while, and then try it.
