Friend Pimpage

I would like to point out my two friends who have finally both got their own domains. I’m glad to see that I’m contagious hee! Seriously, you guys don’t want to know how many domains I own. I need to go to Domain-a-holics Anonymous or something.

Anyway!

First up is my friend Sonia, who is the proud owner of WoeSonia.net. I helped her think of that name Sonia was hosted on my domain for a long time.. she’s the only person I know that is more addicted to blogging than I am. Just wait until we start hanging out on a regular basis again… weird stories will be popping up like CRAZY, thanks to our buddy Karmimi. I might have to pull that entry from my LJ and post it here, its a good one

And then, there is Jules, who just got All-That-Glitters.net up and running. I’m so proud of her, she did the server transfer all on her own! Now if only she’d hold true to her “I swear I’m going to make a new layout” promise

Go check them out, shower them with love, etc etc etc. Besides getting them to get their own domains, I also got them both using ExpressionEngine, woooo!

Appetizer: What is your favorite herb or spice?
GARLIC (uhm. Does that count? Probably not haha). If it doesn’t, then I guess cumin.

Soup: Name a song you like but haven’t heard in a long time.
Harvey Danger – Flagpole Sitta. I should listen to it when I get home.

Salad: If you were to take just one minute to write down as many things as you can think of that you need (not want) to do, approximately how many things would there be?
Today I probably have about 5. For the near future, probably about 100 o_O

Main Course: Tell something interesting about one of your family members (nothing scandalous, please, just something unique).
Hmmmm. My cousin was a model and in a few episodes of The Young and The Beautiful. Now she sells houses and is dating some big shot affiliated with the Lakers.

Dessert: What’s the latest you’ve ever stayed awake?
43 hours or something close.

The Absent Mind Strikes Again

So. Hahaha. I have this $80 bookthat I’m supposed to buy for my HTML class and I was trying to avoid buying it cause I already know all the stuff we’re going over… but alas, all the assignments are straight out of the book so I need it. So I found a copy on EBAY for $20.. and I think, “SWEET!!!!!” so I click the BIN button. My book turns up today.. it’s 125 pages. MY book is… uhm, over 500? WTF?! So I click back to my auction.. yeah. It’s the brief version. It has the first 2 chapters. So it’s not even a useful cheap! OH. EM. GEE.

I mean, if it like, ONLY had the review instructions in it, it’d be perfect. That’d be a great definition of the word “Brief”. But the first 2 chapters?! WHO HAS ANY USE FOR THAT?!?!?!?!??!?!111

So the description in the auction is perfect, I just didn’t read that part. I can’t even be annoyed at the seller! THIS SUCKS.

100 Facts in 100 Days – Fact 036/42

36: I’m kind of forgetful and absent minded sometimes. I’m sure you guys hadn’t noticed, cause ya know, this isn’t the second week in a row I forgot to post these on Saturday.

37: My very first website is still on the web, but not the first version of it, which is probably good. It was called Twinkieland, in tribute to Neonwatt and our Band Twinkie-ness. I’m not giving you the URL though I’m sure you could find it if you were so inclined. It’s kind of embarrassing in a way. I’d go in and like.. denounce it from my name if I could remember the username and password, or if the email address with that information still existed haha.

38: The Henry Fonda is like, my favorite concert venue EVER. ♥ I saw Avenged Sevenfold there, way back when they were actually good. And uhm.. yea. :D

39: I ate real sushi for the first time ever Saturday night. Once before, I had tried a roll-thing that only had avocado in it and thought the seaweed was disgusting. However, this place that we went to was awesome, and I didn’t even notice the seaweed. I had salmon, and it was pretty good. Only 1 piece though.. I’m allergic to cooked fish, especially salmon, so I didn’t want to push it. I also ate a couple of california rolls, man I love crab.

40: I absolutely HATE bathing suit shopping. Last year, I made Jeff drive me to like, 100 different stores in like, 4 different cities before I found one I liked.

41: Shoe shopping is the only thing that’s almost as bad as bathing suit shopping. Unless I’m just buying a new pair of Converse, it takes me HOURS to find shoes. Especially if I need dress shoes. Good lord. I spent 3 hours looking for my prom dress, and 4 looking for shoes. Prom is stupid.

42: Chapstick is the only stuff that’s ever on my lips unless there’s something major going on (or a photoshoot haha) and only the original, ChapStick brand with the black wrapper.

Appetizer: Measured in minutes or hours, how much exercise have you had in the last week?
Ha haha hahahahaha I’m getting lazy and I’m gonna have to go with none other than my every day walking around and walking the puppy.

Soup: If you had to change your blog title to something else, what would it be?
Hrm. Uuuuuuuhhhhhm. What’s wrong with Kat Scratch Fever?! I guess it be “Can’t Find My Orbit” or something. Song lyrics. My theme song. Yep.

Salad: Name one television show you watched when you were 9-12 years old.
POWER RANGERS. Back in my day that show used to be cool. With Trini, she was awesome. Before that whole green ranger junk, it went downhill after that.

Main Course: If someone gave you $50 to spend with the one condition that it had to be educational, what would you purchase?
$50 doesn’t go far these days :( I’d use it to buy the stupid book I need for my class that I already know all the stuff for.

Dessert: Do you tend to prefer dark colors, neutral shades, or lighter/pastel hues?
Bright colors actually. Can’t you tell by my layout? Hehe
